WHO WE ARE
At Hope Haven Homes, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, stable, and supportive place to call home. Founded by Kamika Smith, a passionate community leader and entrepreneur in St. Louis, our mission is to provide affordable shared and private living spaces for veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, homeless and those re-entering society after incarceration.
Hope Haven Homes was created in honor of Kamika’s late great-grandmother, Hope B. Knuckles, who deeply believed that everyone should always have a place to call home. Her legacy of compassion and community lives on through the work we do every day.
With a strong vision for building hope one home at a time, Kamika created Hope Haven Homes to bridge the gap between housing and healing. We partner with social workers, case managers, re-entry programs, and community organizations to ensure our residents not only have a roof over their heads but also the resources, respect, and dignity they deserve.
Whether it’s helping a veteran find stability, supporting a senior in need of companionship, or offering a second chance to someone rebuilding their life, Hope Haven Homes is more than housing — it’s a community of care, compassion, and opportunity.
